AML/KYC/KYT policy ARTERY
The ARTERY exchange service follows AML/KYC/KYT principles to prevent illegal use of the service and protect users from financial risks.
This Policy is aimed at preventing:
🔒 money laundering;
🚫 terrorist financing;
⚠️ fraudulent operations;
🛡️ use of the service for suspicious financial activity.
By using ARTERY, the user confirms that they have read this Policy, accept its terms, and agree to provide accurate information if verification is required.
Important: the user is solely responsible for the legality of the origin of the funds submitted for exchange.
AML
Measures aimed at preventing money laundering and other illegal financial activity.
KYC
A user identity verification procedure carried out when risk indicators are present or additional identification is required.
KYT
Analysis of transactions, sources of asset origin, and related risks.
ARTERY has the right to conduct automatic and manual checks of operations using specialized AML tools, including BitOK, GetBlock, Rapira, CoinKYT, Heleket, and other available analysis services.
An operation may be classified as high-risk if the funds are associated with one or more of the following categories:
Scam / Fraud;
Stolen Funds / Stolen Coins;
Ransomware / Malware;
Sanctions;
Terrorism Financing;
Mixer / Tumbler;
Darknet Market / Dark Service;
Illegal Service;
Fraudulent Exchange;
Gambling;
High-Risk Jurisdiction;
Unlicensed P2P Exchange;
other indicators identified by AML systems.
ARTERY has the right to suspend an operation if high-risk labels or an increased overall risk level are detected during the check.
As part of KYC verification, ARTERY may request:
passport or another identity document;
photo or video selfie with the document;
proof of residential address;
documents confirming the source of funds;
explanations regarding a specific operation;
additional information required to complete the verification.
Important: refusal to complete verification may result in suspension, cancellation of the operation, or refusal of further service.
If a transaction appears suspicious or fails an AML check, ARTERY has the right to temporarily block the request until the circumstances are clarified.
The review period depends on:
the complexity of the AML case;
the speed of the user's response;
the operation of AML providers;
actions of exchanges, wallets, or payment systems;
possible requests from competent authorities.
ARTERY is not responsible for delays caused by third-party services, exchanges, wallets, payment providers, or government authorities.
Refunds are possible only after verification is completed and provided there are no legal grounds for further blocking.
Funds may be returned:
to the sender's address;
to another address, if permitted after KYC completion.
The following may be deducted from the refund amount:
network fees;
payment system fees;
technical expenses;
administrative expenses of the service.
For AML cases, a fee of up to 5% of the blocked amount may be charged, but not more than 100 USD, unless otherwise determined by the verification results.
A refund is not possible if the funds are blocked upon an official request from competent authorities or are held by a third-party platform.
ARTERY has the right to refuse an operation or restrict access to the service if the user:
provided false information;
refused verification;
uses the service for illegal purposes;
is associated with suspicious or sanctioned assets;
violates the rules of the AML/KYC Policy.
Personal data is used only for purposes of AML/KYC/KYT verification, transaction security, and compliance with legal requirements.
Information about the user and transactions may be transferred to third parties only where there are legal grounds, including an official request from competent authorities.
ARTERY takes measures to protect personal data and does not transfer it to third parties unless necessary.
ARTERY has the right to update this AML/KYC/KYT Policy without prior notice.
The current version of the Policy is published on the service website.
Continued use of ARTERY means the user's acceptance of the current version of the Policy.
