User Agreement

This Agreement governs the use of the ARTERY website and services. A specific exchange is also governed by the Exchange Rules, AML/KYC/KYT Policy, Network Confirmations section, and the information shown in the order before it is created.

The user accepts this Agreement by using the website, creating an order, and selecting the required consent checkboxes. If the terms are not acceptable, the user should not use the service or pay an order.

The user must be an adult with legal capacity under applicable law. The user provides accurate information, uses payment details that belong to them, uses lawful funds, and is responsible for complying with tax and other mandatory requirements in their country.

The user is responsible for access to their email, accounts, and devices. Actions made through verified contact details are treated as the user’s actions until ARTERY is notified that access has been compromised.

The user may review all material exchange terms in advance, receive order status updates, and contact support. The user must follow the published documents, verify all details before payment, and provide information required to complete or review an order.

ARTERY must process orders under the published terms, provide support, and take reasonable measures to protect data. ARTERY may change available directions, limits, and reserves, and may request verification or suspend or reject an operation where rules are violated, risk is elevated, or a lawful requirement applies.

Fraud, money laundering, financing unlawful activity, evading sanctions or other binding restrictions, nominee payments, hacking, excessive automated load, and exploiting website errors for gain are prohibited.

Where such conduct is identified, ARTERY may restrict access, suspend an order, and disclose information to authorized recipients where a lawful basis exists.

ARTERY performs automated and manual reviews of users, payment details, and transactions. It may request an identity document, selfie or video, receipt, proof of ownership of payment details, source of funds, and purpose of the transaction.

An order may be suspended until the review is complete. Refusal to provide necessary information may result in cancellation, a refund under the Exchange Rules, or denial of service. The detailed procedure is set out in the AML/KYC/KYT Policy.

ARTERY processes contact, identity, and payment information, IP address, device information, orders, correspondence, and review results only to perform exchanges, maintain security, prevent fraud, provide support, and meet binding requirements.

Transaction and review records are retained for at least 5 years after completion of the transaction or the last interaction. A longer period may apply where an investigation, dispute, court case, or binding requirement is ongoing.

Access is limited to staff and contractors who need the data for their work. Data may be shared with banks, payment systems, liquidity providers, AML/KYC services, and public authorities only to the necessary extent and where a lawful basis exists.

The user is responsible for the accuracy of entered information, network selection, lawful source of funds, and performance of their obligations. ARTERY is responsible for its obligations within the published terms and applicable law.

ARTERY is not responsible for consequences of user error, third-party conduct, or delays by banks, payment systems, exchanges, or blockchain networks outside its control. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. A completed irreversible transfer cannot be technically cancelled.

Events outside the parties’ control include communication or infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, blocks by external providers, government action, armed conflict, and natural disasters. Affected obligations are suspended for the duration of the event.

ARTERY informs the user of the known reason, required steps, and available options for further performance under the Exchange Rules.

First contact ARTERY through the official channels listed on the website. Provide the order number and attach the TXID, receipt, or other evidence. The parties will seek to resolve the matter using the order data and correspondence.

This Agreement does not restrict rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the right to contact a competent authority or court.

A new version takes effect when published and applies to orders created after that time. An existing order remains governed by the version effective on its creation date, unless the user separately agrees to a change or the law requires otherwise.

If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
